This commercial space in downtown Noblesville required a major facelift to modernize it, while restoring some of its historical integrity at the same time. We removed the shingled awning, cleaned, tuck pointed and painted the brick on the second story and replaced the retrofitted existing second story windows with new windows that fit the actual brick openings, thereby maximizing glass and visual appeal. The most impactful improvement was the complete demo and replacement of the storefront system. We removed the recessed entry to maximize interior space and installed all new storefront tubing and glass to allow as much interior natural light as possible.

Further historic restoration was accomplished with the reveal, stripping and painting of the decorative columns and custom carpentry to create the recessed panels below the storefront glass. Also, the original window located above the door to the left was a pleasant surprise to discover. Glad to keep it in order to further the historic elements, we clean it up and painted it to show it off. A replacement of the door to the stair below the window was the final piece to complete the job.
