In this historic home, the customer asked to update not only the function of the bath, but also the finishes and fixtures. Because a tub was no longer practical for their lifestyle, we replaced the tub with a tile shower and open shelving next to the window. To accommodate the shower, we relocated the sink. By adding and updated lighting, installing all new plumbing fixtures, a new tile floor and bead board wainscoting, the bath got a great updated yet classic look.
