To update this kitchen in an Indianapolis home, the owner wanted to get the biggest impact with the least amount of cost and construction work. To achieve this goal, we replaced her laminate countertops with a quartz product that mimics carrera marble. We decided to use quartz for its superior stain resistance and durability, as marble is very soft and can stain easily. We also replaced her kitchen sink and faucet and installed a white subway tile backsplash.

To keep cost down, the homeowner elected to paint her walls and cabinets herself and afterward we replaced all her cabinet hardware. With these relatively easy upgrades, this room is now her “favorite room in the house”.
