The focus of this bath remodel was to create the most impact with updated finishes and fixtures while minimizing cost by not moving a lot of plumbing lines, doing minimal electrical changes and avoiding changes to framing or other structural components. By removing the garden tub and replacing it with a freestanding soaker, we not only modernized the look and function of the bath but opened up square footage to give a light, airy contemporary feel to this space. Adding wall sconces to the tub area put the "polish" on a much improved corner of the bath. Replacing all floor tile, shower tile, the shower door, vanity tops and sinks, light fixtures, painting the existing vanity and a fresh contemporary color scheme on the walls brought the updated look together for a fresh, light space for the homeowners to enjoy.
