This is a kitchen remodel in an historic house in "Old Town" Noblesville. The homeowners wanted a kitchen that functioned like a modern kitchen but still has the historic flavor and also to upgrade the quality of cabinets and finish materials (countertops, trim, etc.)

Although the layout didn't change dramatically, we offered a few design suggestions such as shortening an existing partial height wall to enable the peninsula countertop to be continuous, moving the appliances around a bit to improve work flow / maximize storage and adding a bit of glass to frame the sink. The customers decided to invest in high quality custom cabinets and honed black granite tops to mimic soapstone without the added expense
