This lakeside cottage has a small but efficient kitchen that not only needed cosmetic updates but also layout improvements without increasing the footprint of the space.  To make the space feel larger, we removed the accordian door and track, replaced the wall ovens / cooktop combo with a single range, removed the bulkheads, installed light natural maple floors, open shelving and added LED recess lighting.  Light, contemporary custom cabinets, honed quartzite tops, new appliances, blue backsplash tile, an undermount sink and new faucet finished off the cosmetic updates to create a cozy yet modern kitchen.
